Default Exhaust smell? Smoke?

A sweet smell from exhuast could mean burning coolant? Or maybe condensation? This always happens when I first start up in the morning, a little white smoke and a sweet smell. The smoke and smell go away completly after engine reaches operating temp. Could this be the be the unforgiving head gasket?

Sounds like coolant. How is the coolant level? Did you check the plugs for any abnormalities? Compression test the cylinders?

Don't be too quick to point to a blown head gasket.
Remember, condensation is a by-product of an internal combustion engine.

So, a little white condensation vapor is normal when first started. You will notice this much more on cool fall or winter day, but it is not unheard of in the summer.

But are you seeing too much of it? that is the question I guess.

Yea that is true, but the OP did mention the Sweet smell. There is only one reason for that.

The Burning Coolant may be really white.

things Heat up/Expand and seal. The Leak stops and no exhaust Carbon goes into the cooling system.

But when things cool down, and the cooling system still has a bit of pressure, it seeps into the cumbustion chambers.
