Default [HVAC] Need opinions from the gurus. 86E (w/Pics)

My blower motor would run all the time if the battery was connected. When running it would make a high pitched rattling noise. If I let it run long enough, smoke would start coming out of the vents under the windshield wipers and out from around the blower motor housing. I replaced the blower motor module and it fixed that problem with it running when connected. Took the blower motor out tonight and found the problem. I cleaned it as good as I could, but wondering if the evaporator is clogged enough to have to pull it? I didn't use compressed air...yet, just wiped the mouse house and old turds out. Sooooo, what do you think?

I did not find the rest of the squirrel cage...or should I say mouse cage.

Looks alot better with the sheit out of there.

Got the pm.

Thanks guys, after posting about shooting compressed air in there....I figured it was probably not a good idea. I can rig something up with my shop vac and get most of it. I will get some more pics after I do so. I hope the evaporator is still in usable shape.

Got out and did a little cleaning. I used a long bristle brush and my shop vac. Look any better? Think is will be ok to go ahead and install the blower motor?

Looks good to me, just hope the evaporator is not leaking oil, which it doesn't look like it.

After using the vac, but before using the brush.

After using both.

After I cleaned it up and taped it up for the time being.

I think I found the bastard mouse!
