New personal best at the track, but still no #*#@} 11 second slip
Well, Neat and I made it to Fayetteville Motorsports Park today. I made 3 full passes on the car and got a new personal best, but no 11 second time slip. It was 70 degrees...I was wishing for mid to low 60's, but not today. There was a headwind most of the day. My mph was up, but my 60 foot times were .05-.08 slower than my normal pace The track prep was good early in the day, but went down hill after cars kept spraying down the track with assorted fluids.
Here's the run down:
1st pass
1.7966 - 60 FT
7.7651 - 1/8 ET
91.76 - 1/8 MPH
12.0277 - 1/4 ET
116.10 - 1/4 MPH
2nd pass - absolutely raped a Fox body Mustang on this pass
1.7818 - 60 FT
7.7616 - 1/8 ET
91.54 - 1/8 MPH
12.0454 - 1/4 ET
115.27 - 1/4 MPH
3rd pass - spun on this pass...but got it on video
1.8188 - 60 FT
7.8165 - 1/8 ET
91.67 - 1/8 MPH
12.0858 - 1/4 ET
115.89 - 1/4 MPH
I can taste the 11's. 55 degrees and I'm there Videos coming as soon as I can get em loaded.

Watch for lower humidity days as that seems to play a greater roll, that an barometric pressures....if you get low humidity and high BP, makes for some real good racing.
You are real close, sometimes getting that last little bit can be a real tough nugget to crack; but isn't that what makes it fun!
Keep it up and you will get her done. Your 60' time is where all the ET is at. Do everything in your power to get that down and you will reap the benefits.

Here's a couple of videos from today...
Neat filmed this and some guy walks in front of the camera at the end. This was a 12.08 pass...I blew the tires on the launch

Here's an in car shot of the 12.04 pass. I stuck the camera between the passenger seat and the console. You can hear my posi unit begging for help during the burnout (it only spun one wheel on this burnout). You can also hear the clutch slipping on the launch...

Your 2nd launch was a little better than the 1st, as you can see in your 1/8 ET, but by then you were already slowing down.
It looks like it would've been good for a 11 sec pass otherwise. Did you shift differently or lose some power from warmer air?

Melting Slicks
Almost man, you'll get there. If not, we'll spray that thing and go hunting for 10's.
Thanks for killing the video before I started swearing at the dude who walked in front of me, lol.
