by-pass inline tach filter
i have a 93, and the tach cuts out at 3000, the msd book says to bypass the inline tach filter. does anyone know how to bypass the inline tach filter?

I would assume they mean, remove it and spice the wires back together. Damn, I hate assuming.

I simply disconnected it. I believe that will bypass it. BUT that did not help. Ended up going to a aftermarket tach

I had to bypass it for my Accel ignition. The booklet gave crappy instructions and I had to call them. It has been a while back but I think I simply clipped it out or at least on leg to bypass it.

i unhooked it but the car wont start. does anyone have any diagrams of how to do this?

On My 93 there are 3 wires going into the fillter. one wire is black which I did not cut. I cut the other two than hook them together.

I found it on the harness by the coil. it's a small black box
