Default Custom Digital dash for 84-89

Was looking at this digital dash( http://www.nordskogperformance.com ), anyone thought of swapping out their original for this unit? The width is almost exactly what the stock dash from tach to speedo is. Running this dash would allow total removal of the switch panel in the center of the dash, which allows for more gauges or whatever your heart desires. Disregard the price on their site, it is in Summit for just under $300.

Was looking to do a LS1 engine swap, which might mean I can't run my factory gauges, so this looked like a good solution.

Anyone out there with this dash unit, or their own creations in their 84-89 C4's? Let us see them.

I dont know man....that one is a little plain. I like the original one. I was considering keeping the center panel with fuel and coolant temp, and changing the tach and speedo to black face 3" auto meter gauges, and building a new front panel so they fit nice, but I dont think that would work, becuause i would have to chop up the circut boards inside the cluster. :(

Way too plain. And there is nothing to easily visually reference (speedo or tach bars).

Ok, fair enough, how about these? http://www.nordskogperformance.com/streetdig3.html

I kinda like the clean look myself, and I never look at the bars, and when I am racing I never look at the gauges, too busy setting up for the next corner.

When you say that they are faded bad, do you mean the front glass has darkened? The digidash uses LCDs which are not that subject to fading, but the little halogen bulbs inside do. I replaced all 4 bulbs in my digidash and it is a magnitude of difference. The best place to buy the bulbs is Wal-Mart. They want about $4.99 each instead of $8.99 at the autoparts stores. Same exact bulb in the same blister package by the same manufacturer.

I like the look of the video game dash, always have. I'd look for adaptors if the sendors don't work.
