Turn Signal Woes with Solution!

Turn Signal Woes with Solution!
I just went through some pretty sketch diagnostics on my recently purchased 1990 C4 that I thought I'd share with everyone.
So my right front turn signal was doing some pretty funky things:
-Slow signal
-No signal with running lamps on.
-Dim signal with hazards
-Alternating (Left right) hazards when running lamps on.
So first I replaced the bulb.... nothing
Then I hand checked the ground and wiring harness to the firewall.... Nothing
I pulled out the wiring diagram and was ready to go purchase a flasher unit, when I decided to put in another new bulb (this time the silverstar turn bulb).... nothing
ok frustrated and running out of daylight I put the other silverstar turn bulb in on the left side, which was working correctly. Shortly after a miracle occurred and my turn signals work correctly and all is well with the vette.
So morale of the story: when dealing with lighting don't assume a bulbe is good even If it looks good and works correctly. It seems this bulb had a small ground shorrt causing all of the funky behavior. So when doing the repair, replace all the bulbs in one shot.
I just thought I'd put that out there in case somebody comes up with the same problem.
Cheers!
