You would be better off trying some of the local EFI tuning experts for recommendations as you are going to need some dyno time to set up up correctly.
Who did Boschvette get to set his up?

Holley Commader 950 uses MAP, and it only costs @ $600 total if you re-pin your harness yourself.

Or www.jimsperformance.com will repin the harness for $250

The mob that sells the intake should be able to steer you in the right direction re ECM unless you and Boschy are the only ones in Oz with that intake.
Is that a similar setup to what the V8 supercars run?
Maybe someone who knows their way around Super cars can set you right.

I´m running this in my -90 C4: http://www.autronic.com/page_files/smc_kit.htm and a cheap Innovate LC-1 wideband.
Not a plug-and-play system but it´s sequential and it´s been performing very good the 3 years I´ve used it. It´s an Aussi company so it might be fairly cheap in N.Z.

hi rod,larry,bogur,
thanks for the replies and help !
due to the cost and stuffing around of rewiring and repining i have decided to buy the haltech e6gmx system plug in and play set up.
this 8 t/b intake Rod is the same sort of intake that the proffesional v8 super car race cars run on the track.
cheers

I would check with Haltech,

Their site states
"The Haltech E6GMX is a user-programmable, fuel and ignition engine management system designed to plug-in replace the older AC Delco OEM system"

From the online info it looks like it has two plugs (24 and 32 pin ) the same as the "165" MAF ECM used in the 85 - 89 Vettes and Camaros
( same as VN/ VP Commo).

Your car has 4 plugs on the "727" MAP ECM ; completely different style so won't be plug and play.

surely i can modify it couldnt i ??
i was told there is only two wires to modify then i can install it!!
i thought my ecm 1991 vette is the " 730" ecm,not the " 727" which is the older style isnt it ??
thanks

Poor choice of words I think. Like rodj stated, it's not very popular in the states. I'm using the DFI 7 piggy back to the stock computer so I retain gauge functions.

165 is 85 - 89 MAF computer (two plugs, as shown on Haltech site)
730 / 727 are '90+ Speed density (MAP ) computers.
Same computer, just Vette 730 is in weatherproof housing for mounting under hood and it has 4 plugs ,not 3 like the 727.
The Haltech is MAP but appears to have 2 plugs like 165.

"surely i can modify it couldnt i ??"

have a look at the wiring details for '85-'89 and '90
http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us...00823d8021971c
/repairInfoPages.htm
The basic inputs to run the engine are very similar .I don't know what else in the car the ECM controls as the Haltech problably won't have provision for those.

I probably have the correct 165 plugs to fit the Haltech if you want to start cutting wires.
