Default What Injectors to buy?

I have searched and read, but still at no conclusion. Lloyd Elliot told me to use 30# injectors with my package but I'm not sure what to buy or where to get them. Will I need to get a feul pressure regulator?

What are you running? An adjustable regulater is nice tuning tool.

30lb svo are very good injectors. You dont need a FPR at this point. Did you find a good tuner?

Where can I get the SVOs?

I'm getting an initial tune from PCMFORLESS, then I'll take it up to Tony's Corvettes in Gaithersburg, MD

Is this size typical for an LT1? I was guessing 24s should handle that without a problem.

The 24 probably could handle it but would be close to being maxed out. Being that your heads will be flowing somewhere close to 300 cfm the 30 would be a very good idea and your tuner needs to know you installed theses also. Theres a set on Ebay right now. Do a search on svo injectors and you will see them. I think you can get them for $200! FYIM your leaving a lot of power on the table by not putting in Headers. You can put random cats in behind the headers if emmissions is concern. Shortys are still restrictive. Ask me how I know.

Even with the fuel pressure cranked all the way up, my stock 24's are pretty much maxed out at ~375 rwhp.

Stock injectors for the LT1 were 26#. You can use 30# but with your mods its not really necessary.

Yeah, I know.. but for now I'm going to have to wait because I have other more important mods to do that will supplement my engine mods and not enough cash to go around.

I'm currently recovering from round #1 of the expenses incurred on the engine mods and I still have to buy a torque converter and get gears installed. I think those two items are more important at this time than the headers. Later, after I have recovered from round #2 (gears and converter) I'll install LT headers and new CATs for round #3.

In the middle of all my car mods and Christmas too, I'm also trying to buy a house! The wife and I are virtually on pins and needles this weekend waiting to see if a deal is going to be accepted on a "Short Sale" home I have made an offer on a couple weeks ago. So I'm really trying to balance a lot of things and hope that the "card house" I have built over the past year or so doesn't come crashing down on me!

I hope all of this works out because the wife says, once I get her in the new house, I can buy another Vette sometime in the not too distant future.

Thanks for all the help - I'm going shopping for SVO injectors.

Everything I have read says they are 24#
If I thought i could get away with the factory injectors, believe me, I would. It would be another $200-$300 I could put somewhere else.
Thanks
