IGNITION COIL QUESTION 6800rpm lt1 procharged 383
[B]ok, hypertech has a coil for 1995 lt1 with 53000v up to 7000rpm is this my best bet for a stroked 383 95 lt1 with 8lb boost at 6800 rpm? I have a Moroso Pro coil on it now which I believe is 38000v this coil does not support after 5500. Cant get any straight answers in my area, ANY HELP WILL BE THANKFUL

Are you using a seperate ignition box?
Check out the MSD website.
MSD 6BTM PN 6462
GM BLASTER COIL PN 8226
HARNESS PN 8876
Their tech support should tell you what you need..

ok checked out the msd 48000v looks good. i dont think the 38000v moroso pro coil which i have now, is up to the higher rpm challenge. The engine pops like it's bouncing off the rev line after 5500-5600 all the way to 6700-6800 have to let off the throttle.
