Default Accelerator cable prob

When I push the accelerator pedal in my c4 there is no rev.The cable seems very slack.How do you tighten it up as I cannot move the car

Default cable

are you sure it did not get disconnected from throttle body or pedal, or maybe it broke i dont think there is any way to shorten it without cutting the cable

It all depends one what year and engine. Care to share? Do you have a FSM for your car there is a procedure for this in it. If it is a LT1 there was a thread in the last week that explained it with pictures from the FSM try searching for it.
