Default Bladder in seat leaking off. Please Help

I am taking my seats out this weekend to dye them. While I have them out I would like to see if I can find the leak in the bladder system.

Is there a common problem with these systems?

Check the C4 TechTips Section on this Forum. There's several how-to articles regarding sports seat bladder repairs.

The bladders in my '88 were toast so I replaced them a few years ago. In order to access them for R&R I had to open up the hog rings half way up on either side of the back as well as remove some hog rings along the lower rear of the seat back....

I bought the bladders from Contemporary Corvette, link on my site.

Before ordering a new bladder you might open her up to see if the bladder is bad or the ends of the Tygon tubing have split due to age & temp cycling.

This link applies to my 1985. The seats in yours are different, but some ideas might help you.
