Yeah I have noticed that the early cars seem to be much lighter than the later lt cars. I'm sure you could make your goal with some bigs and littles and an electric water pump fairly easy

Melting Slicks
Car-1992 M6 Kind of stock with LT headers, 1.6 rockers, and tune. Rear is a 9" with 4.11 and 315s M/T DR
12.96 ET at 107 MPH
Sixty foot was only a 1.81 was hoping it would have been better as with the IRS and 3.4 gears it was a 1.89.

I ended up with a 10.4:1 355 with a lightly ported stock tpi intake with stock runners. It has Edelbrock Performer Corvette heads with Comp double springs and 1.6 pro magnum roller rockers. I installed the Lingenfelter 211/219 cam, straight up. It also has TPIS headers with no air or egr. Pcm of NC did a mail order tune on it. I installed a road race ready 700r4 with 2400 Mild Edge stall converter and it has stock 3.07 rear.
The only time I had it to the track I ran in mine shaft air and it ran
1.794 60 foot
5.316 330 ft
8.260 660 ft
10.810 1000 ft
12.950 1/4 @ 109.42
