I recently read of a guy with a boat, who had an intake gasket leak whereby it was sucking air/oil from the lifter valley into a cylinder and it caused an intake valve to burn up. I'm always trying to learn and I guess I just don't understand something about this, because I always thought that a lean condition like that would cause, would make an exhaust valve burn up. Any truth to a manifold leak being the cause of burning an intake valve ? thanks alot !!
