I've got them on my car
I really love the sound
You can do the same thing at a muffler shop though for a lot less.

You mean just eliminate the mufflers all together at a muffler shop? Will that throw me any codes and is it too loud?

I did the elim and replaced the resonator with a Magnaflow true-x. The Magnaflow refined the sound a bit. Louder but not too loud, i get compliments all the time. and no complaints. (at least that I've heard)

I've done it too with a couple pieces of straight pipe and welding the LT1 tips back on. I don't think it's that loud at all. Also I got to point the tips out the back a little straighter as well.
Maybe it's a little loud when you romp on it.

Oh, I have a stock exhaust forward of that.
