Default Canton oil pan

Well I finally have the bugs worked out of my LT4 swap, and the only thing left is that POS canton oil pan. If you are one who is very picky about leaks and neatness stay away from the canton pan. I have had to remove it and weld it up at the seams twice.I am about ready to trash the POS and put my none leaking stock pan back on. Anyway I'm sure I'm not the only one with issues from it ,b*tch session over.

Oil leaks are some of the worst...

I've used two of Canton's pan for an LT4...no leaks on either although many have posted with issues.

(first pan was damaged by road debris)

Good Luck on the repair...

I have read others who have stated similar, because of that I filled mine and let it sit for a couple of days. Mine turned out fine w/no issues.

Sorry to hear this but is seems ot be a reoccuring issue with the Canton Pans.

Champ makes a very nice RR pan for less than the Canton, it is extremely sturdy and welded nice, and made in the USA.

I have their drag race pan and it is rock solid.
