Default Belt Jumping off??

Hey guys new to the forum lol just baught a 97 with 30k on it.. its an auto but the belt started to slip off?? any ideas thanks

Might check to see that the pulleys are all in-line with each other.

Someone here might have a trick to measure this alignment

Take a look at the condiction of the belt. Might be a good time to replace it. Also, grab the belt tensioner and make sure it puts plenty of tension on your belt OR replace it.

Also have a good look at each of the pulleys to ensure the components they mount to are tight and that the pulleys themselves are are not loose or damaged. Might want to go back on with a "new" belt and double check that it is properly installed into the groves before starting.
