This is COOL from NOS
I was looking at the NOS home page and I found this and I may just have to get this if I go to NOS.
What do you all think?

Oh yes, and I know a guy at Holley who already has his hands on the system. He's gonna put it on his LT1 and see what it'll do, I'll probably get to see it first hand in April at our next big car club gathering. I know if I was gonna do nitrous, that's how I would do it. Easy to install, easy to remove, just overall an awesome setup.

Re: This is COOL from NOS (MrJay)
Ok, im confused heres what i see. I see some sort of adapter going into the intake, this adapter has flow for n20 and fuel then in the adapter goes your stock fueinjectors. Thus simulating direct injection of the go mixture to each cyl without drilling the intake. So far it seems ok, but how does it know when to fire the go juice into each cyl? Ie when does it charge cyl 8 etc... all the time or only when the fuel injector fires. Anyone know.
This seems like a great idea assuming it works.

Re: This is COOL from NOS (dexion)
It's a friggin' 3/8" hole drilled in the side of the throttle body.
Take your stock one off and have a machine shop put a bung in for $12.
Better yet, have 'em fabricate a replacement for the stock "bellows" air duct, 'tell 'em to make it out of a strong heat-resistant plastic. Have 'em install two nitrous bungs, one in either side. Now you're ready to put on 2 150 shots :smash:

I will be installing this setup (Noszles) onto my car come summer. As far as how it knows when to launch n20 & fuel that is a good question, I didn't think of that.

mountainmotor you are right I dont have a Mustang but you can use this system on all EFI engines.
Nathan Plemons you have to let us know how things go with your friend.
dexion you are right this is a NOS Fogger system but the good thing about it is that you dont have to weld up the intake and drill it, the good thing about it over the plate system is that the intake is not made for fule delivery so you will not get fule puddle in the intake.
Fogger system does not hit as hard because it does not cool the intake air down and it is easy to tune.
It will charge all the cyl at the same time.
I bet a system like that and a progressive controler would be sweet in my car.

They look good and sneaky, but they also raise your fuel rails up a bit. I wonder if they will clear with the super ram or not?? They look to be much safer than the TB setup (at least on an L98 with SR)

Nathan,
You gotta keep us all informed on that one! This product looks AWESOME!!! I can't wait to see the results. :yesnod:

That thing is sweet looking, looks to bulky to fit under a super ram. But should work with a mini ram or LT1 setup. The ford injectors aren't crowded buy runners or anything. All you would have to do is shim up the fuel rail mounting points.

Very cool set-up. Looking forward to see how it fits on the LT1 and how it performs. If I was to do it, this would be the set-up. :seeya

Oh yeah, I'll keep you guys informed. It looks pretty freakin awesome, and the way this guy works it will be on the car soon. I can't wait to see it and see him run. He's gonna run it on a stock bottom end LT1.

Just my 2C :D
If you look at the close-up photo (below) of the injector, it is a stock Ford injector with an NOS injector extension casting fitted on the end:rolleyes:
Problem I see is that it constricts the basic injector spray pattern into the narrow center passage of the adaptor, therefore, when you're not using the nitrous boost I'm wondering if you will have a less efficient fuel atomization?
As for the question regarding timing of the shot, again it's just adding additional fuel and nitrous ports above each intake valve without any drilling of the intake manifold....there is no fancy timing going on here:eek:
Basically looks like a good idea...would love to see if it works well both when nitrous is on and during regular driving :D

Re: This is COOL from NOS (95BLKVette)
That's what's so cool about it man. It goes under your stock injectors. You don't have to do anything but raise your fuel rail up a little bit. The system doesn't include injectors, that thing that the injector sits in is plumbed for fuel and Nitrous, making it a very easy to install direct port system. Holley tested a Mustang with and without the NOSzels in place and it didn't affect it at all.
