Default what type of glue to use on the evaporator core seals?

I'm getting ready to install this system in my car but the core seals are loose. would RTV be good for reattaching them? Also I want to seal up my heater core pipes where the come through the firewall as well as re-seal the evaporator box back to the firewall.

is a reproduction seal made to do this? or what have you all done to do this?

Most people use 3M weatherstrip adhesive.

I used butyl, the same as is used to seal windshields. My local bodyshop sold me a coil for about $15. It works great, but use gloves
