Well, on that note, it isn't yours either. You stated your opinion, I gave mine.
There are crossfires out there making good power and there are cheap management solutions out there. 84's don't maintain much value as it is, but I'd feel a fuel injected C4 is going to get you more cash, in terms of general market, than a carb'd car would.
It's an easier sell to say, "hey, I've upgraded this to batch injection like the newer cars versus I stuck a carb on it like it's a 1975 and called it a day". Not that he's going to sell it, but I build cars with budget yet also investment in mind (in terms of prospective future loss).
To each his own man, but fuel injection owns.

A much nicer, more refined car in every way, just not as much of the "raw, rough, no frills sports car" for me. I wound up selling it and keeping my '91.
Good to see another person who appreciates them, though.

I have an 84 vette and am still working the bugs out of it. I probably paid to much for it but I could not be happier. Tweaking the car for my taste is half the fun in having it. What I wanted to say was I had a co-worker with a 83 FLTC. He wanted 6500.00 for it.It was in pretty descent condition. Meantime he threw a connecting rod out the front of the case. Price now was 3000.00. I found a shop to do the work for 3500.00. All except heads and flywheel brand new. So for the same 6500.00 (bluebook)I had a super reliable bike. So do your homework with the math and that will tell you what to do.
