I just gave your youtube video an extra "hit" you now owe me approximately .000000000001% of a cent
I've seen the video before that car rocks! You got to love how the front hops a foot to the left on launch. Guess that's a old Grand National set up in there? Congrats on the www recognition.

I'd be interested to find out what the weight distribution is.

Those Buick turbos are crazy fast. That must be a straight axle in the car.

I remember seeing this video years ago! I love how it jumps sideways off the line! And thanks to you I can't stop occasionally digging through craigslist just waiting to find a Turbo GNX engine!

It jumped sideways b/c the tire warm up was a "one tire fryer"...just the right side. So when he launched, the right hooked better than the left and it went left.
Sick car. Not a fan of the one wheel peelin' mobile though.

WHY? You wouldn't come close to duplicating that cars performance. In fact a stock GNX engine wouldn't be any faster than a stock LT4. As for weight a 3.8L Buick weighs within 35lbs of what a cast iron SBC weighs. Since the SBC engine is set back 4" behind the ball joint in a C4 Corvette, your wasting your time.
BTW there is not a single thing on that engine even closely releated to a stock GNX 3.8L engine.
That particular engine has over the counter StageII alum cyl heads, from when NASCAR Bush GN cars ran V-6's. They were also used by Carl Wegner and Jim Ruggles on the Indy turbo Buick V-6's. The block is ex NASCAR over the counter block with a billet crank, Lentz rods ect.... Top of the line unobtainable engine parts by the days standards, just about like going to one of the GM teams today and asking to buy an RO7 to put in your Corvette. What that guy has is 10's of thousands of dollars worth of a real deal racing engine, not some **** poor Disco 1970's 3.8L production car engine with a turbo stuck on it.
I can't believe that people are gullible enough to think that this guy just yanked a GNX engine, dropped it in a C4 and now it runs 9's.
Try building a SBC with similar money invested and similar quality/generations of real racing parts in it and see what happens.

That blue one has a pretty bad bounce after hitting second gear. He better check his shocks.

Not going to swap. Just curious to get my hands on one of these. Found a few of them pretty cheap in TX. As for the turbos. Hell no! Engines by Unser if I were ever thinking to.
