Took over 350 lbs. out of my track day C4
We are stripping weight out of my '96 LT4 6MT Coupe to make it a faster track day car. I think we have it below 3000 lbs. now. Total weight reduction about 350 lbs. My race mechanic's shop is helping with this, so I don't have all the details or any pics, but I'll post of more about it after I pick up the car in a couple of weeks.

I got about 126 lbs out of mine, but that's without removing major assembly units or detuning the car's creature comforts. Here is where I got it:
* BBS wheels = 36 lbs.
* Front cats = 7 lbs.
* Spare tire & jack = 45 lbs.
* Replaced mufflers with Monza tips = 35 lbs.
* fiberglas open lid = 1 lb.
* High-flow cat converter = 2 lbs.
I weighed each item on a digital scale to arrive at these numbers.
FWIW !

Mine should be around 2800 now, down around 500 pounds. I'll weigh it this spring. Last time on the scale it was 3100 and still had A/C, that was two years back. I gutted the interior late last season but didn't get it on a scale yet.
Did they give you the parts they removed? You can sell quite a lot of striped off parts.

This is a very partial list, but taking out A/C, all carpets, gutting doors so that the windows just sit on a little shelf like side curtains and come in and out, radio and speakers, ASR, passenger seat and seat belt, all unnecessary parts in/under dash, hood latches (installed hood pins), etc. basically taking everything out that is not need to run on a road course, except that the car has to remain street legal (it is registered and insured), so it still has headlights, windshield wipers, etc. Also moved battery to rear for better weight distribution.

Sounds like mine. I put HID fog lights in for this season and removed the main lights. I drove to the track and the HID fogs made plenty of light. I did keep the wipers though, rain events are fun and you can really learn a lot.

yours is a race car now ! you have almost nothing left to remove except passenger seat right?
I can't wait to see it when it gets more real power to weight ratio

I dont know what my car weighs but I have only removed the headlights (HID fogs like Aardwolf), AC, spare tire and carrier, added lightweight seats and moved battery. However, I added an accusump, oil cooler, and 4 point bar so with all I removed, added, and my fat butt I dont think I got anywhere. I still like mine to be streetable as I drive it back an forth to school during the spring and fall.

My FX 3 car weighs 200 pounds more than my Standard LT 1 coupe of the same year !
The title says it's 3800 lb.s W/O my fat **** !
It has the sport seats too !
I need to put it on a scale !
Going to have to add a cage for the blower so that will add to the misery on the drive train !
