Need some ECM id/cross reference help. 1226870
I want to make a custom ECM harness for my 85, and I need a donor pin-header. I don’t want to bugger up the one that I have, just incase my project doesn’t work.
My question is; Does anyone know if a 1985 ECM #1226870 shares the same pin-header as another ECM? Or is does it have the same pin-header as the 1986-1989 ECM # 1227165 ??
From what information that I can find, there are ECMs that are the same in terms of design. The separating factor is the application specific prom/chip. The 7730 ECM is used in f-bodys, Beretta, Corsica, Cavalier, Century, along with a few other models. The only difference is the prom.
Ultimately I just want to find a cheaply priced “donor” ecm that I can rape for the pin-header. I don’t care if it isn’t from a Vette, as long as the pin-header is exactly the same.
Any help will be appreciated.

Do you have a abtt prom? I bought a 35th anniversary edition Corvette and it had a hypertech chip in it was missing the stock prom so somehow a ground broke loose from the ECM and erased all the stock parameters and now I've got a no start condition. Does anybody know where I can get an a b t t prom from?

The abtt 350 automatic transmission is gm 16074772. You can use other bcc codes instead as long as c4 350 maf aluminum heads. Arap would work as an updated tune as well. Do you have a code 41 or 51 ?
