Default L83 bottom end 2 or 4 bolt
can anyone tell me what is in the bottom end of the L83 used in 84. I would like to know 2 or 4 bolt main, and what type of crank cast or forged?

2 bolt mains, cast crank & rods. Forged pistons though. Windage tray also & nylon/aluim. cam gear(what were they thinking?).

Not to hijack, but how about the L98 used from 85-91? 2 or 4 bolt?
