What is it? And what pressure should i trie with ?

If I'm not mistaken it is around 45psi. I checked mine some time back and I beleive that was it. I don't think raising it will help on a stock engine. According to TPIS the older L-98 had a lower psi and by raising it to what you and I have stock helped them. If I am wrong on this somebody let me know. For this reason I have not opted to install a adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

43.5 psi. Same as all other TPI years except for 85 that ran a lower pressure, around 35lbs.

So what is the procedure to test the pressure with the fuel pressure meter? How do I hook it up?

There is a shrader valve located on the passengers side of the car on the fuel rail. Connect your fuel pressure gauge there. I then taped the pressure gauge to the windshield so I could see it while driving the car. You want to see what it is a full throttle.
