I installed a pair on my son's 96 LT1 last summer. They installed without a hitch and I used Mr. Gasket 5716 head gaskets and ARP head bolts. I cc'd one intake port and it checked at 189.xx ccs. Comp's duals with a damper. $1,350.00 including shipping from JEGS.

Heads came with adjustable guide plates since the intake valve are slightly re-positioned by Dart, apparently to improve flow. After checking, they called for stock length pushrods. I went with 7/16" 1.7/1.65 Scorpion RRs so I had to swap the 3/8" studs that came with the heads to ARP 7/16". I chose ARP studs that are 1.900" to give more thread engagement in the head and at the poly-locks.

I believe Pete K is using them in his current engine build, too. He probably spec'd his out more than I did my son's.

Anything else?

Jake

Default Patriot heads?

I also found these but im kind of thinking they may be a Chinese product. There web page don't say squat about the company and at that price? Other than that all the specs look decent but im sure the quality is sub-par. I do know Elliot porting uses Patriot springs in his heads? Also Summitt Racing sells them. Anyone know anything about this company?

Wow, they claim their a 180cc port and they poured almost a 190cc port.

That's a little misleading.

For the price I would pay a little more and get the AFRs.

Talk to owner SKIP WHITE, hes a member here or Google Skip White performance. Cant expect a whole lot for 800, hes a decent guy.
Havent seen any of the new runs of heads up close so I cant comment, think they wind up around 248/178 or something. Roughly the same as a Trick Flow if not a touch less.
