Default best 58mm thottle body? what do I need to do the intake to make it fit?

I just got a summit racing equip gift certificate.

Id like to upgrade to a 58mm throttle body. I believe, with my blower, im at a point where a bigger TB would help.

Summit racing equip has the following TB's for LT1s

Summit Racing 58mm, SUM-227702, for $291.95

BBK Performance 1542 58mm, BBK-1542 for $319.99

Holley 58mm, 112-505, for $359.99

Im leaning towards the Holley since it says it has the ports and is designed to use stock TPS and IAC. The others make no mention of that.

Also, what do I need to do to the lt1 intake to make it accept the 58mm throttle body?

Can the intake remain on the car, or does it have to be removed to port it for the 58mm throttle body?

Just need to make the intake holes 58mm or larger...mine was done off the car using machine...best way

I do know of someone who did it on the car using a small hand grinder, obviously great care is required doing it this way...but it can be done

I used the Edelbrock 3810.....

There used to be a thread on the internet where a guy stuff the intake full of rags and carefully enlarged the openings on the car... however, LTX intake is a dry intake so it can be easily removed on a corvette in less than an hour.(thread was an F-body and their engine accessability is a little more obstructed than ours) so I pulled my when I enlarged the TB openings.
Currently I have a ported intake on my engine vice the enlarged opening stocker.

As for 58mm TBs Holley is probably a nice piece, I have a 58mm BBK on mine with stock IAC and TPS. (its your car and your money if money were no object I'd have an AS & M monoblade on mine) )
Intake with TB openings cut for 58mm TB

My current ported intake it will take an AS & M monoblade but I'm using BBK 58mm

58mm TB mounted on intake

All stock sensors mounted
