7/16 and self alignning are these the proper specs for replacements roller rocker arms for my 94 LT1?

If you buy 7/16" NSA rocker you will need rocker studs (7/16" of course)
hardened guide plates and hardened pushrods (polylocks too)


If you are changing to 1.6 from the stock 1.5s be safe change the springs too.

3/8" self-aligning are the stock specs. But, many like myself and "aboatguy" are running 7/16" non self-aligning rockers.

Excellent reference; count me in on that too. In fact, there's yet another on-going thread on LS1LT1 about failed self-aligning rocker arms. Thread is complete with photos.

So, I'll strongly recommend it once again: If you're buying new rocker arms, go with 7/16" NON self-aligning rockers, 7/16" ARP studs, hardened pushrods and guide plates.
