Aftermarket only.
On the C4, factory keyless entry was introduced in 1993.
And you wouldn't even want that system on your '88.
Aftermarket has much better options.

Your best option would be an aftermarket system. Consider going with a basic alarm/keyless entry system. It will probably cost between $200 - $300 installed.
