i have a 90 c4, the tach and center LCD display to not work for some reason..

when i start the car, the tach shoots up to redline, then comes back down to zero..

also, when ignition is on, the center lcd display lights up orange, but doesnt display any info at all?

all other gauges seem to work fine. any ideas?

thanks for the links, some good info in there...

though, i dont think the tach filter is my issue, as my tach doesnt even function at all?

it redlines on startup, and then goes as low as it can while its running...

this morning when i drove it, the center LCD display had EVERYTHING lit up and maxed out, usually the orange backlighting is lit up, but the "black" lcd lettering is blank...


and finding replacement parts for this 90 is a pain in the asssssssssssss!
