Went about 10 miles and it dies so i push it to a gas station...let it sit about a half our it started and drove fine for most of the night. then tonight i drove around 20 miles getting on the gas at times i notice sputtering and it dies. It would start and stumble stumble stubmle then die again..so i let it sit another 20 and it starts and idles and runs great till i get about two miles and it dies again..waited 30 min and it started drove fine home till it then sputtered out and died......

I had a problem like that once. It ended up being the big ends. It would run until it heated up then seize. Wait for it to cool and off it would go for a while again.

Hope thats not your problem. In actual fact I would bet there was less than a 0.1 percent chance of that happening to you. (Unless of course you or somebody else has thrashed the engine).

Basic diagnostics are in order.
What is the fule pressure?
Did you check it for spark?
Did you pull the enging diagnostic codes?
What does your repair manual state as some of the causes?

Asking this question on a forum will not yeild any solid data, until you do your due diligence to begin the diagnostics.

If you requesting a wild azz guess, I will guess fuel pump.

Both of the above guesses are good and could be correct.. It could even be something as simple as a clogging fuel filter, do what Pete K says and start doing diagnostics on the car, because anything we say is just a guess..WW

^dont need your two sense if you dont have any helpful info then dont post

ok car is a 90 has 40+ pounds of fuel pressure and spark fuel pump is a brand new walbro and it has full msd ignition... it still has the stock injectors i think they may be a small problem...i dont understand what would make it stumble when hot tho.

Default ecm?

Check out this thread. I emailed the OP and he emailed me back stating that it turned out to be the ecm.

You need to check the resistance on your injectors, check them both cold and hot..The ideal resistance would be 16 ohms but as low as 12 will still work. The injectors in your 90 are the same as in my 89 and the problem is they aren't ethanol compliant, so the ethanol in todays gas will cause the epoxy around the coils to short out. I would replace the injectors just as a preventive measure if nothing else..WW,
