Walbro will supply the fuel volume needed for higher HP motors. When I did my heads/cam intake, I found the stock pump was not getting the job done at high RPM. FP was dropping and wideband showed it leaning out. 255 Walbro fixed that.

It's a great option if I had known about it when I replaced my pump two years ago I would have upgraded then.

Racetronix kit here with the extra wiring kit. Good deal.

Marv, pressure is dictated by your fuel pressure regulator (if aftermarket, it could be adjustable) but no this won't change your fuel pressure.

Raised mine 5psi with the OEM regulator. The spring in the regulator is only so strong.

Marv, the PCM will be closed loop and will adjust the mixture accordingly. Unless you have a modified engine pushing somewhere in the vicinity or north of 500hp, you have no need for the larger pump. They also sell a stock sized pump. Get that and you'll be fine, performance and pressure wise. Perhaps he'll cut you a deal since it's not listed above

Appears the results are variable then. All the more reason to have an adjustable FPR, I suppose.

Im buying fic 24 lb injectors instead of my old *** 22 lb injectors already in it. I think upgrading the fuel pump wont help add power but it looks like it's good quality.....what is the benefit with the harness kit sold separatley? what exactly does that add?

The harness benefits are covered in detail here:
http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.a...WH-007&eq=&Tp=

If you are only running 22-24LB injectors it is unlikely that you require a Walbro 255LPH fuel pump. Unless your fuel pump or injectors are failing there is no point to change either.

We offer a wide range of direct-fit injectors for C4 Corvettes.

Racetronix pump and wiring kit keeps the pressure up for my 355 even at 7200rpm...my factory pump passed the FSM checks but pressure would drop like a rock above 5000rpm in 3rd
