Default 92 Orifice Tube Location

I will be attempting to change out the accumulator, condensor, & the orifice tube. I need to locate the orifice tube, can someone show me or tell me where the orifice tube is located. Thanks

The orifice tube is located in the vertical portion of the high pressure liquid line (small diameter) just forward of the evaporator housing on the right side of the firewall.

Yup. Peep the passenger side near the firewall. You'll see it.

This may give you a clearer picture of where your orifice tube is located. If your AC is working, it is easy to locate an oriface tube. Turn your AC on, the high side line will be HOT and the Low side will be COLD to the touch. The orifice tube lies right between the HOT and COLD portion of your AC lines. Also note that the high side piping is smaller in diameter than the Low side. In this picture, the green is the High side, and the White(or clear) is the Low side. Important : buy yourself a "Orifice Tube removal tool", or you will never get it out. They are wedged into the tubing and don't just pop out with a pair of needle nose pliers.

The orifice tube is in the vertical part of the A/C line directly in front of the evaporator housing. It is under the connection to the high pressure line that comes from the condenser.

It is in the same location on all C4s. There might be an exception for ZR-1s. I don't know about them.

Could someone repost the picture of where the orifice tube is on a C4 (1996)?
