Default Courtesy Lights/Alarm System. Help!!

I have a problem with my '85.

If I leave the CTSY/CLK Fuse in the fusebox, my courtesy lights stay on all the time! And if I shut either of the doors with the doors "locked" the alarm sounds until I put the key in the key slot.

The "security" light also flashes on the dash constantly.

What switches control the courtesy lights? Are they the ones in the door jamb or the ones mounted to the door?

Thanks!

The ones in the door jambs.

My 86 info may still be helpful to some degree.

CHeck the fuses. Mine just did this the other day. It was the 10 amp fuse for courtesy lites, causing all the exact same symptoms. There are more than one courtesy fuses.
There is also a block fuse under the dash on passenger side.

I'm confused, the ones in the door jambs are not the door ajar switches right?

The ones in the door jambs look like this http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...3663_118332_0_

You need to replace the Door Ajar switch shown above, located at the rear inner face of the door edge.
