Nope, that's real carbon fiber that replaces the fiberglass or plexi panel. You just reuse your frame. I was there when he shot the roof of the silver car, that's my black vette's roof in the background of the second photo. It's one SWEET piece.

BTW, I doubt it's anywhere close to the reserve.

I've been doing some research on doing this mod at home, its abot $100 for materials and you can use your present top for the mold, as with anything , the details are key.

Actually I don't care for the look of carbon fiber, but I have been around it for so long I am somewhat jaded. What would have been nice is if it had offered a gurney bump. Realize you want to be below the targa bar for track use but the little bit of room for the helmet would still make a nice option.
