Roller Rockers for center bolt L98 113 heads
I need to get a set of roller rockers for my 90 vette I was told to run push rod guides plates and harden push rods because the self aligning ones would jump off do they make a narrow roller rocker that isn't self aligning or could you tell me what rocker that is narrow enough to run center bolt valve covers? Do I need the self aligning ones with the guide plates for added protection?

you have other issues.. like your valve tips are worn???
the valve tips are hollow Ground.. to keep them centered.. I would stay away from Aluminum rockers!!!!! I had a pair destroy there microscopic needle bearings brand new complete rebuild every part less then 600 miles!!!!!! they agreed and sent a new set...
I did find stainless steel Procomp Roller rockers exact copy's of Comp Cam for a 1/3 of the price !!!!!
very good quality... only thing I found was a good cleaning was needed... due to them polishing
after market covers are Necessary<<<<

Well I'm going to get some Scorpion SPC1036BL Narrow body self-aligning I have to much money invested in this motor to go with procomps I have heard to many people having issues with them and needle bearings running around in the oil pan scares me.

I have Crane Energizers aluminum rockers on my center bolt 128 heads. No issues whatsoever. I do run guideplates. From what I can see on my heads I could run any rocker I wanted to width is not an issue.

Whatever it is buy good stuff when it comes to valvetrain parts.
Cheap out by buying the cheapest Chinese stuff youre bound to have problems...and metal debris from mfg in brand new parts.
