Default 1.7:1 roller rocker arms for SBC, they the same as the for LT1?

I dont see a listing for this part in LTx, just SBC.

Will these roller rockers work on my lt1? or are these for an SBC only?

How about if I go to AFR 210cc heads? WIll they still work, as long as I have the 7/16" studs?

What about guideplates... does AFR make guideplates for the pushrods?

An LT1 IS, a "SBC". Should work fine. Assuming the jive w/the rest or your valve train selection.

Why don't you call AFR and ask? Then, you can hear them go "Duh....I don't know. What's it for?"

Better yet, why not pick a cam with more lift? If you're going to r/r the heads, swap the cam so you don't NEED 1.7 rockers.

They come with guideplates. If you're asking about their ability to work with 1.7 rr, that's going to depend on your final geometry. I suspect that'll be your answer from everyone.....it depends.

Here is my two cents on the subject and that is all that it is worth. I think the 1.7 rocker arms would be OK if you work with your cam grinder. I would not just go and install them without talking to the person who designed the lobes on your camshaft. You could get into valve float or an unstable valve train real easy.

When I went with 1.65 rocker arms on my current motor I discussed this with Mike Jones who designed my camshaft. I wanted to get close to .600" lift because according to PipeMax I might be choking my motor with less lift. In my situation he said the 1.65 rocker arms would work just fine. I also cheated some as I used an AFR rev-kit for more insurance incase I needed to go to 7000 rpm for a shift point for the most power under the curve. We took it up to 6800 rpm on the engine dyno without a hint of a problem.

i wanted to know about runnin the 1.65 or 1.7s also to get more lift. If you were runnin a custom grind comp cam i guess i would need to call comp and see what they say? its the xfi lobes and i know they are more aggressive then others.
