Default 1989 radio

I want to replace the aftermarket radio in my 89 with the original Bose am/fm/cass,but having a hard time finding one. Any suggestions where to find one, also what other year would fit I wouldn't mind one with a CD
Thanks

Over the years I have found several on e-bay and several on this site. Just keep your eyes open and one will pop up. Even if they are broken or have some problem, there are repairs available with warranties. Here's one I found on e-bay within a 2 minute search:

If a 87 Corvette Delco Bose AM/FM/Cass will fit/look right, I have the one that came out of my 87. The AM/FM plays great. The Cassette does not play. Load a Tape and it goes back and forth and ejects it. If interested, PM me. $50 for the radio Plus the ride

You need a 94-96 Camaro Bose Cd player, I put one in my 88, one of the best things I've done. This is actually my dash. Don't get one from a 93 Camaro though, they had yellow script and the radios were gray not black.

Looks good ! I too used a 1995 Camaro AM/FM/CD in my 87. The Camaro radio had a blue display that did not match the other readouts. I changed the color to green in a few hours. Here is a link to a post I made last year on how to change the color of the display.

You will enjoy the CD much more than Cassette. I found my 95 Camaro Bose Radio right here on the C4 Parts For Sale for much less that $100. I had to search back in the for sales for quite a few months to find it. It had not sold, the owner still had it and sold it to me.

This is the best option. This is what I have installed on both of my 86's and my Dad's 85. They came out of a 94 Camaro, you have to use the one that match's yours for Bose or no Bose. You can get the wire adapter and antenna coax adapter and any radio supply shop and it is bolt in for the most part. You will have to trim the speaker and fade ***** a little so they don't hit the dash, but it is easy.

That Camaro stuff is an awesome option :-) Right now I'm looking for a radio which will fit the '85 Vette and this is just perfect.

Is that 94-96 radio /w CD available as a non-Bose unit for use with passive 4-Ohm speakers?
