I think I might get the Claw. I just want to hear what other people prefer. :D

I'm going for the claw based purely on looks, you won't gain much from either system. We've track tested them.
With the SLP at least you won't have to do any cutting.

Nah, you won't notice. We have several guys who gained nothing but an empty wallet and just improved looks under the hood. If you can wait till October(and you'll need an SLP calendar) you can get 10% off the claw.
I'll be at Raceway Park for SLP day and using some of my UPS charm to try and work a discount if I can.
That would be this Saturday the 20th.
It's free go to www.slponline.com and register, there are over 1800 registered so far.

I have the vortex on my car for about 2 years now. I have to say this, it is a POS in the way it is made (very poor design fit wise), but it is a good design in function. Probably one of the better functional ram air kits. I did feel a difference and it also changed the sound of the engine, but that is with the engine modded.
I don't know if you will feel anything on a stock engine, you might, what you'll notice for sure is the sound, it sound like a vaccum.
I didn't buy the claw for the reason that it has a weird design with 3 cone filters setup next to each other. Sure it looks cool but think about the way it is functioning, each filter is sucking air from the other filter. That doesn't do anything, they should have just put one big filter on instead of three little cones next to each other. The finish however is very nice.

If you modify your exhaust as well as add the ram air, you will notice a difference. You won't see anything on a dyno because the car is not pushing air into it. I gained 2/10ths and 2mph with my ram air and 3" flowmasters!
