FIXED, Thanks Mike R..CHECK Guages on , but no service engine soon light?
My friends check guages light is on on his 96 Vette, but no service engine soon light. The car is running rough, very low RPM, no power. The manifold was leaking oil in the rear early in the day so we changed the gaskets etc, then it started running rough, with the check guages light on. I checked all connections, they are all on, vacuum lines are good. Changed EGR, Checked IAC (took it out and checked to see if dirty), checked fuel pressure (50psi with vacuum line off). Any help would be appreciated.

It turns out the left injector bank fuse was blown, and ater checking it carefully the #3 inector had a slice in both wires going to injector. Apparently it shorted out the fuse. Thanks again to Mike R, appreciate your help. Steve

The CCM or an Oil switch will set the Check Gauges light..
What type of Oil pressure is he getting when the light is on?

The oil pressure was 40psi. The wierd thing is it comes on slowly as if voltage is going to it, it doesnt just blink on, it takes about 20 seconds to be fully bright. All the guages seem fine, digital to analog. We scanned it also, and it showed nothing.
