Hi Rick
Grate to see you up and running. With the rain this week to wash off the salt, you will be on the road in no time. I will have my insurance put back on this week. Hope to see you on the road soon.
Take care
Brian

Sounds like mine man, congrats! Can't wait till you break her in and strap her on a dyno.
Mine should be back up and running in a month or so. I may go FAST too, haven't decided.

One thing I found out on my build was that the stock fuel pump was not enoght to handle the bigger horspower. If you have not checked your fuel pressure at WOT, or if you have a wide band check the A/F ratio. I could not get mine below 13.7 until the fuel pump change. Once I got to 4500 rpm it would not go any lower. Now 12.5 and solid. Try the Walbro or similar brand.

Congrats Rick on getting it running...finally I'm sure you'll have fun with it this summer. Bring it down to NC this Fall and we'll put a big number down on the track with it
PS. Remember no traction control on an '88

Gonna need a sticky tire on it for sure your street tires will be useless.
Get it tuned before running it anymore if you can help it.
Very easy to wash a cyl down happened to me,doesnt take much.

Congrats Rick! Sorry I'm late to the party, swamped here. So glad you got it finally going, you sure have had your fair share of hoops you've had to jump through. You have far more patience than I.
Now keep us updated and let us know what she makes once you get her tuned. Suppose they issued a bulletin in Canada now, open season on LS7s

The ls7s with those giant 11 degree heads make crazy RWHP. I am going to the dyno tomorrow and there will be two built zo6's there, both making over 550 rwhp. Those motors make insane amounts of power..... The things we have to do to a gen1 motor to be able to keep up is crazy..... I have a lot of money in my 406, put 1/2 that money in a LS7 and "Its to the moon Alice". It's those 11 degree heads...
