Default LT1/hotcam/valve springs

Will the Factory LT1 valve springs be safe with a minor cam like the GM performance LT4 hot cam?

Not looking for a debate. Just a yes or no.

Thanks!

No
The ZZ4/Hot cam springs are rated for .525 lift
Stock LT1 has only .460 lift

It is not even recommended to upgrade to 1.6 rockers with stock springs on the stock cam. People do it but it isn't wise. The hot cam kit has more lift to start with and with 1.6 rockers, would be very bad indeed.
