Default 93 lt1 engine oil temp (analog) on instrument cluster doesnt work..how do I fix?

My engine oil temp gauge on the instrument cluster is stuck.

Interestingly, the oil temp digital gage (from pushing the gauges button) works fine.

The FSM only talks about one engine oil temp sensor, located at the top of the oil filter adapter/assembly.

Is there another sensor for the analog oil temp portion? Or do I have to do something with the instrument cluster to get this to work again?

any help is appreciated.

Is your analog gauge stuck high or low? Your oil temp sender has a three wire connection. One is a ground for the digital readout and one the digital readout pin to the PCM. The dark green wire on the sensor goes to your gauge. You could try to unplug it and see if you get a different reading and if not then ground the dark green wire to see if it changes the other way. Good luck
