What Octane rating needed for 11.0:1 compression???
What level octane does a 11.0:1 compression 383 need?
Should I use an octane booster or Toluene/xlylene??
What formulations are you running in your 11.0:1 motor?

Well OEM LT4's come with 10.8 (and aluminum heads) and I run fine on best octane I can get here (91).

I know a few guys with 11.2 CR LT1's and run strictly on pump gas(93). I have heard of higher than that even. Just depends on how much time your piston hangs at TDC, quench area, piston coatings, and other factors.
