Tie Rod Ends (outer) from TLD Corvettes
TLD lists outer tie rod ends for 84-96 Corvettes for $31.00 each. This is less than half the price of Ecklers and Mid America. What gives? Anyone have any experience buying suspension/steering parts from TLD? Is the quality up to par?
Any responses appreciated.

TLD isn't in business too rip you off, MHO. The minimum shipping charge, and "handling charges" are bogus, but if they NEED to charge it, they need to charge it and I'm glad ot pay it for the extra customer service. I think their parts are GM :yesnod:

I agree. TLD is Great to deal with. They actually check to make sure they have parts in stock before they say yes. I've ever had a problem. I just bought a rear tie rod end and front brake rotors last week. All were GM parts.

I have a set of new outer tie rods that came with my PST suspension kit that I did not use. $50 including priority mail shipping. Email me if interested.

Re: Tie Rod Ends (Bluevette85)
I bought a set from TLD for my 86. They were genuine GM tie rod ends. ONly thig I did not like is that they did not have provisions for grease fittings at all. No plugs, not drilled for the fittings like the ones that came off????
Otherwise, I have bought quite a bit of parts from them and always been satisfied with the cost, and service. Ask before you buy if they have grease fittings

I bought my wheel bearings from them and bought some more parts from them Thursday for the new clutch. They were MUCH cheaper than the dealership. Sam at TLD has always given great customer service.
