Default steering wheel puller...93 lt1...where to get?

Im fixing the steering slop in my 93's column.

Thanks to Gear Jammer for the excellent writeup he posted 9 months ago about how to do it.

Im in the process of removing the steering wheel.

FSM says to use a steering wheel puller and has a specific part number,..

Do I need this exact tool? Or can I just 'rent' a universal one or something from autozone?

Also, should I replace that center nut that holds the wheel onto the shaft? I believe the FSM says to .

I used a harmonic balancer puller (because I had one).

Most parts stores loan them, but they sell ones that are pretty inexpensive,as well.
For a few dollars, I prefer to have my own.

I have never replaced the nut on a wheel and have never had a problem. If you want to make sure it doesn't back off, use some "Loctite".
