Default A/C Delete Bracket

Going to be "lightening up" my 87 for next year's autocross season and I want to remove the A/C compressor. The compressor is on its last legs anyway with some internal rattling, the system wont hold a charge for more than a few months, and with installing headers, I won't have to deal with brackets.

Who has the delete brackets for the early C4 radial-style compressors?

Go to a wrecking yard and look for a full size pickup with the AC delete. The mounts should be pretty close. The pulley can be bought off ROCK Auto or any parts place. I had to fab up a different bracket for my '90. Good luck

I bought this years ago from the General. It's for a 2000ish Camaro with ac delete.

I have the same thing as 383vett, works for me. See picture below. I like the nice clean set ups shown in the links by Rodj.

I just went to Rockauto's website and cant seem to find that part. Is it called something different than AC delete kit?
