"87" ? on hatch security cover adjustment
I am not sure what it is called , but I am trying to speak to the black hatch cover that rolls out from the rear of the hatch.
Mine is about 5 inches to short to place into clips. I attempted to take it off but it looked like ti might be a hassle putting back together.
Can you suggest an metods for adjustment and /or removal?
Thanks Charlie

Melting Slicks

Take it off and see if it's stuck or something. I don't really use mine. I always forget and anything in the back just melts. I've lost 1 pair of birkenstocks, 2 pairs of tennis shoes, 2 book bindings, a kangaroo leather hat, and a warped CD case. It would be good to get it to work.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I figured it out the fix, did not need to remove thank goodness. . Just took the handles off and removed the rod and took a turn off the spool.
works perfect now. The removal may be similar but don't have to tackle.
Have a good day..
