Hooker Long Tube Vortec Heads Spark Plug Issue
I purchased a GM Crate motor,installed Hooker Long Tube Headers, plugs arch on Header. Purchased Accel P526S plugs from Summit auto parts. The plug length is 2 3/4" still to long, need 2 1/2" length plugs.Need a .708 reach with 14mm threads. Can I place mesh boots on the end of the plug wire or purchase ceramic tipped plug wires?
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Shorty plugs, insulating mesh on boots and wires, ceramic boots, dimpling primaries all help.
