Fog light Problem
1989 Coupe, fog lights don't come on. when parking lights are turned on and fog light switch is energized the head lights turn on even when they are down. turn on head lights they roll up and light up but no fog lights. Has anyone encountered this problem?

I figure out the problem, I purchased HID fog lights from a vendor on this forum. Before installing the HID lights the foglights worked properly. after installation the lights did not work and would turn on the headlights. after taking off the ballast units and using a meter I found that wires positive (color purple) and negative or ground (color light green) were reading normal +12v on positive and 0v for negative. a check of the ballast units revealed that one was defective and shorted. took them out of my and all is well with the world.
