Default J55 caliper onto JL9 caliper mount bracket

I have a Datsun 510 here in Australia with the J55 calipers and custom 13" brake rotors.

i would like to downsize to a 12" rotor and would like to know if the J55 caliper i have will work with a JL9 caliper mount bracket and a custom disc to suit.

Are there any photos that show the difference between the J55 mounting bracket compared to the JL9?

Thanks in Advance

What do you call the mount bracket?
The abutment bracket that the caliper locks into with the pin through the pads and then that whole assemble is bolted on to stub axle
If so NO ;
the J55 abutment bracket is wider and the J55 caliper would not fit correctly into the narrower JL9 bracket.

If you are after retaining the 28mm thickness of the J55 rotor, your would just reposition the J55 rotor and it's bracket 1/2" closer to the center
( what stub axles is being used ? )
Easily done if you already have custom adapters on a non Vette stub axle

Have both types on the shelf ; can confirm measurements for you later

I just took the 12 inch JL9 calipers and brackets off of my car and they are available. Is shipping to Australia difficult?

Thanks for the reply and confirmation that it won't fit. Yes the abutment bracket is what i was looking at changing. I have a datsun 810 stub axle. It's a close as i can go to the strut tube.
looks like i need to go a different route with the brakes..

Could you make a new adapter to rotate the caliper down so you have more room to move caliper in ?
